RegionalThe animation highlights Asian precipitation and low-level wind patterns. Data gathered from many sources illustrate the seasonal evolution of the monsoon system. Precipitaion data is model generated. In the future observations for precipitation will be included. This data represent a 5 year average. Look at the color bar beneath the map. Yellow indicates the lightest rainfall. Red is the heaviest. Notice how the patterns change with the season.
