Act 1.13 Setting up a Science Binder

 [ Back ]

For this course you will organize and keep your work in science in two ways.    You will create an exhibit of your projects and investigations in an Online Science Portfolio (Activity 1.4).   You will also need a Science Binder for everyday assignment papers, tests and other work.   Set up the Science Binder and locate where you will keep it in the classroom.

The purpose of the Science Binder is to

  • provide a place to keep your finished assignment papers.
  • organize the information you need to study for quizzes and tests.
  • create a record of science questions you have investigated.
  • show learning and accomplishment in science.
  • provide an opportunity to reflect on your science work and achievement.
