Factors Influencing Seasonal Climate Patterns

In the GLOBE Program we measure temperature and other parameters every day.   If we measure the temperature carefully every day of the year,  we could produce a very good graph of how temperature changes at our school.  Depending on where are school is, we could discover what the pattern of temperature variation is for our location.  The pattern would represent information about our location and maybe other locations similar to ours.

If we studied all the environmental parameters that we measure for GLOBE we would discover seasonal variations or cycles.  The seasonal cycles are inter-related.   Why do the patterns show particular changes during the year?  The following links will provide background information that you will need to interpret data for your research.
