Unit Questions

For each Unit in the ESS course there will be a set of questions to
answer. These questions are intended to challenge you to think about the
topic, to stretch your understanding and to encourage you to learn to find
and analyze information.
Answer as many questions as you can and give reasons for your
answer. The questions may not have a single answer and some can be
answered in more than one way, depending on your viewpoint. Provide
scientifically correct, thoughtful and creative answers.
Important points to remember
- Check the schedule for the date when the question set is
due.
- You may discuss the questions with a team member, but each student
must submit your own individual work.
- Your teacher will review your work and return your paper before you
take a quiz on the topic.
- Use the key to correct your answers and then study the questions
before the quiz.
- Include the corrected question set in your science portfolio.
